How Can We Support Our Afghan Neighbors?
Since the fall of 2021 the U.S. has welcomed nearly 74,000 Afghan refugees into the country, 500 of whom Nashville has opened it’s doors to provide them with a new home. At Gateway Teams we are actively working side-by-side these families to help them transition and settle into our city. But, providing a warm welcome is a job that needs you too! Whether you’re a part of a team or building relationships on your own, here are a couple things that you should know about the Afghan community!
