What are the Steps?

Equipping is another word for training.... Gateway team members will be equipped with tools to build relationships and serve refugee families. Some of the topics will include: understanding the refugee journey, cultural differences and how to help without hurting.

Forming a team means gathering a group of 2-6 people committed to walking alongside newly arrived immigrants for 6+ months. Meeting at least once a month, teams simply do life together. This may mean going together to the store, attending a baseball game, or even simply hosting dinner for an evening!
